Harvest Party

Here's the kids at their Harvest Party in our church gym. The older kids get to carve pumpkins, the younger ones paint pumpkins. Their "Pals" are with them. Pals are set up through Pioneer Club so that kids have an adult (or young adult) that they can relate to in church, kind of like a Big Brother program...sort of. The Pals pray for them throughout the year, come to events like this one, and possibly give them presents on their birthdays or Christmas. It's a neat program.

Tye's Pal, Chris, works nights sometimes, so he asked another friend of ours, Brenda, to fill in for him at the Harvest Party. Thanks, Brenda!
Sierra and her Pal, Leah. Sierra adores her. She's been her Pal for a few years now.

Isn't this a lovely picture of me?! I was filling in as well as a Pal for Jon, a very sweet little boy. I took this picture, in case you couldn't tell. It was a fun night!
