School Picnic and Track Meet
Saturday was the girls' grade school track meet (through 6th grade, but you compete against your grade) and all school picnic. What a beautiful morning it was! Just gorgeous! They were each in three events, and both got 2 blue ribbons and one participant ribbon. They also qualified for the National Fitness Award. There are 3 levels...Participant, National, and Presidential. I'm so proud of them! They did great. Thankfully, they must have their daddy's athletic gene. :~)
Shianne was in running long jump, the 100 yard dash, and jump rope (it is a grade school meet!).

Sierra was in running long jump, the 50 yard dash, and jump rope.

I love it that they got the exact same ribbons. They can be very competitive of one another!
Jaden was NOT in the mood to stand/sit around and watch. But...his naughty mommy forgot his blankie! AND apparently he was hungry. He ate 3 hot dogs at the picnic! Brandy took time away from the field to come and see his girls compete. The girls loved having him there. Planting time is very important, and not every farmer dad would break away. I love you, honey!

What is it about those blankets??? Toot STILL needs hers too. She even tries to sneak it into her backpack when she goes to preschool. :o)
