Update on the Pinky Finger

Here's a picture of Tye's finger taken last Tuesday. Ouch!!

This past Friday he got the stitches taken out. It didn't go as well as I'd hoped. Once again he was a very big boy and didn't move his finger. However the skin was quite thin (the top layer of skin is off) and also a little wet as he rarely wanted the bandaid off (can you blame him? It hurts just to look at it!). However there was much loud crying involved. It bled because it wasn't healed and came apart a little bit. This time it was even harder for me to hold it together. Also very disappointing, for him and for me...he was supposed to have swimming lessons this week, but because it wasn't quite healed we had to postpone them a week. But his sisters got to go. He was very sad.

So afterwards we dropped Tye off at a farm auction where Brandy was. So he got some one one time with Dad. And the next day during the girls' swimming lessons he got to go to our friends house. He was excited about that! The girls were almost jealous!

Now I'm happy to report that although it's not good enough to go swimming, it's healing very nicely and not giving him any trouble at all. :)

He's doesn't know it yet, but he has to have a minor surgery for his bladder on Wednesday. Please say an extra prayer for our little man!
