We Did It!

We sent our SN Application off in the mail today! Wow. There's a lot of unknowns out there, but we know that God is in control, and nothing happens that He doesn't know about or that doesn't ultimately work to the good of those who love Him. And we are so grateful to Him! He has blessed us so much on this journey. It hasn't been an easy journey, and the road ahead is uncertain, but He is there, and He is Great!

After it arrives at our agency, approximately 10 days later we should know whether or not we're accepted into the SN program. But our SW said it wouldn't be a problem, so I don't forsee any worries there.

Even though we've applied for SN, we're still on the list for healthy girls as well. So it doesn't necessarily mean we will adopt SN. Again, God has a plan, and we felt He wanted us to fill out this application. It wasn't easy to fill out. Well, most of it was! It was only 5 pages, and in the adoption process that's not much! But the list of what we would consider for SN was daunting. But prayer and advice from people who've been there really helped.
