Another Update

Wonderful news and yet prayers needed. Here's an update on Cindy from Friday...

Hello everyone,

Cindy just continues to improve, even the Dr. and staff can't believe how well she is doing. The Dr. told them today he removed almost 1 1/2 cm of skull. THere was so much pressure that one of the arteries in the back of her head was pushing into her brain, and the bottom of her brain called the cerbellar tonsils, one of those was almost completely pressed flat. She has feeling in her hands and feet and her feet and hands for the first time are warm. She's never had warm hands! She will most likely get dismissed from the hospital on Sunday and will probably be allowed to go home by Wednesday or Thursday. God is so amazing!!! He has answered our prayers and gone way beyond. A few of you have asked is you can forward these emails on and that is fine. Also, I sent out addresses to you so you could send cards, I think it may be best just to send them to their house to be sure she gets them.

Again, thank you all so much for you prayers and emails!

Her sister, Renae:)

And here's on from yesterday (Monday)...

Hello everyone,

Cindy is having a setback today. She has developed a spinal leak and now is having severe headaches due to that. The Dr. says she needs to lay completely flat for 24 hours and hope it's better by tomorrow. There is nothing that can be done for it except just to give it time. She has also been very nauseated this morning and has been dry heaving, which has not helped the situation at all. The nurses haven't been able to get an IV in again but once they do they'll be able to give her something to take away the nausea. We need to really just keep her in our prayers! ... They are still planning on leaving on Wednesday and be home by THursday but will wait to see what happens. ...

Thanks so much for your emails and your prayers.

Renae
