Tye Tidbits

A couple things that Tye said yesterday that I forgot to include, and want to remember...

The nurse told him ahead of time about his IV, and that's how he would drink/eat during surgery.

After surgery, he did NOT want anything to eat or drink. Since part of being able to go home is doing these things, we gently kept after him. Finally, he took a couple of sips. He looks down at his hand and says,

"I don't see it going in there..."

He thought if he drank the apple juice, he'd see it going through the tube and into his IV! The way kids think if just too cute.

Also a little note, when asked what was worse, surgery or stitches, he didn't hesitate. Stitches!
