Hooray!
The carpet guy came by today and we aren't going to replace the sheetrock! Yeah!
He, of course, couldn't say for sure that there was no water still in the walls, the only way to know for sure is to tear them apart. But the sheetrock tested dry. That's good enough reason for me not to start tearing down walls! :)
