Labor Day Festivities
Our tradition on Labor Day is to go to the local festivities...a parade, sometimes a petting zoo, and a historical village.
We were excited to spend the day with friends of ours, Rich and Stacy! Jaden warmed up to Stacy and they had a good time at the parade.
This year the girls wanted to be in the "kiddie parade." For a split second I was tempted to say no cuz I just wanted to sit and watch the parade, but since we have no idea what next year will bring, I said yes.
Their idea was to take Rosebud (the lab) and Shelby (our Shih tzu) and dress them up.
Shianne and Shelby were "the Spies," Sierra and Rosie were "the dancers." My friend has a better picture of Sierra and Rosie...it was hilarious! Rosie wore a tutu. So cute. They got a lot of laughs and both got many cute comments.

Rosie got a much needed bath in the morning and Shelby got a haircut by me a couple days prior. So they were all spiffed up! They did wonderfully!

There's just something about small town America!
