Waterpark Fun!

For our Christmas present to the kids, we gave them a weekend and a nearby resort with an indoor waterpark. That's where we were this weekend. What fun was had!

We ran into some people we knew, the kids made new friends, swam, swam and swam some more, and we had some great family time.

Although they had a wonderful place for little ones to play...

...not long after Jaden was there, they also had a big "bucket" on top of the area that would periodically tip and pour water over the whole thing. Even though the water didn't hit him, it scared him to pieces! And he didn't want to go near it again. So...he spent lots of time with me or Brandy on the lazy river...or shooting hoops with Brandy.

The kids hanging out in our suite. It was beautiful! It had a view of the lake...not that it was such a view this time of year. Unless you count a few snowmobiles and an ice fisherman! But wonderful nonetheless. It had a full kitchen, so we saved a few dollars by eating all our food "in."

Anyone want to dance?

Already looking forward to next year, and sharing the fun with ALL of our kids!

We went to the same waterpark over the Thanksgiving break. What a fun place. I love the photo of your hubby holding his little boy. So precious. ...

Wow! that looks like so much fun!! I want to go! A water park sounds like heaven right now. It is 24 degrees in Atlanta today.
Your little guy is so darn cute. My Kai would have reacted the same way to water dumping on his head. Poor little fellow :(

Looks like so much fun! Could you let me know where this is? You canemail me or leave a comment on my blog and I won't post it if you get a chance. I have an idea as to where but not sure if I'm correct. We're thinking ahead to a future trip and wanting to make some plans while we're out. Thanks!
