Happy Easter and Happy Birthday, Tye!

Happy Birthday, Tye-Man!!

Tye's 6th birthday falls on Easter this year. Because we knew we would be tired from the trip and not able to be out and about, we celebrated with family before we left. But we saved his presents from us until today.

We had showed the kids pictures (on the camera) of Tye and Jaden's birthday party. We knew that they knew in part what it meant because Svanna started singing part of the Happy Birthday song!

Tye, we love you SO MUCH. You've always been such a sweetie. Full of love. Our Tye-Man. That expression started when you were a baby, the first boy, and Daddy started calling you his "little man." One of the girls picked up on it and it became "Tye-Man" from when you were a little baby.

You LOVE spending time with your Dad. Especially out in the field or in the truck. You love anything with wheels. You have a heart for animals (as long as they aren't the creepy crawly kind). I LOVE that you still want to "rock" at night. Even though you don't fit well on my lap anymore. Even though you're still Mom's boy, you're venturing out on your own more and more. You love preschool, especially Fridays, when you get to stay all day.

You love to play outside. You're such a boy, in that you love to race around and play crazy, inside or out. This means at times you get hurt, and Mom has to kiss away your owies.

You're always willing to help Mom. Usually without complaint! You especially love to help Mom in the kitchen.

You're favorite color? Green, of course. John Deere boy!

You still pray every night for a 4-wheeler, "someday."

I wish I could put your wonderful heart into words, my little man. But words can't express how special you are. We love you!!! Happy Birthday!!!

Your first love. Although no longer exclusive, cuz a girl at dance has her eye on you, and you acknowledge that! But here you are with Hanah. You told me the other day that we can no longer call her "Hanah Banana," cuz she likes oranges.
